Even though Ranna can live and work out of the water, she must return to it for 6 - 8 hours every week to keep her skin and her body functioning. To accomplish this, special quarters have to be assigned to this crewmember. She requires a big "fish tank" which often covers half to a quarter of the quarters itself. |

HISTORY
Ranna was born to Joshin and Ranna Golone in 2349. Ever since she could swim the depths of the seas, she explored every nook and cranny. Nothing was too dangerous for her, and she had many close calls as she grew up. Her parents saw that they would never be able to contain her advernturous spirit and so did the only thing they could. They encouraged her to go to Starfleet Academey and explore. Ranna did just that. She spent 4 years at Starfleet Academey, completing her fourth year on the USS-Challenger as Helmsman. After graduating from the Academy, she served on the USS-Stargazer as Helmsman at the rank of Ensign. After a short period, she is promoted to Lt. JG and the position of Chief Helsman. After 4 years, she is reassigned to the USS-Independence as Chief Helmsman.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Atlanteans: The Atlanteans, while rare so far in Starfleet, are there nonetheless. Atlantean males are usually 6'0" to 6'5" while females are 5'6" to 5'11". As many people may have guessed, Atlanteans can live and breath underwater. Most don't live outside the water's of Atlantis, and for those that do, special tanks must be made so an Atlantean can survive, for without water Atlanteans would dry out and die. As some people might have observed, Atlanteans always have tattoos on their backs. These tattoos are given by master artists, and the tattoos themselves represent bloodlines, genetic makeup, accomplishments, and personality. Ranna's tattoos mostly dipict a wild adventurous personality.
